This page is my ramblings and notes Out of Character for one of the Knights next meetings which Im thinking about throwing and asking other KotEF/EventHolders to attend if they want. Im unsure of if it will be a Players meeting or open to the public as of yet because of space considerations. It might not even happen as Im unsure of whether those currently making the rules even seek the same or agree with my beliefs of where the Realms is headed (IE downhill) without change...

The reason for this meeting is to try and help the Realms out in many LONG TERM ways I feel dont get discussed at EventHolders meetings that Ive seen or heard much of in the more recent past. Tho it could be just me pounding sand... too often have I seen meetings that ended up being just new knightly order powers, new spells ect that tend to be for personal benefit and not Realms as a whole. Its sad to see NERO and other LARPS locally doing better than us after all these years. If we actually worked on this as a group so much more could happen. But Realms history is filled with circlejerks and seperation...

THE REALMS GROWTH: I FEEL WE GONE FROM EXPANDING SLOWLY TO LOSING NUMBERS OVER TIME. I THINK WE COULD IF WE TRY END UP MULTISTATED AND MORE LIKE THE SCA IN SIZE IF WE WORK ON THIS AS A GOAL AND MAKE SURE THERE ARE CONTROL RULES FROM THE START TO PREVENT CHAOS.

EXPANDING

TODAYS ATTITUDES. IN THE EARLY YEARS WE OFTEN PASSED THE DRINKING HORN. WENT TO HOT TUBS AFTER EVENTS. GAMBLED AND TOLD EVENT STORIES UNTIL THE WE HOURS ECT ECT. PARTIED TOGETHER. AND COMPETED IN OUR ROLEPLAYS OVER NOBILITY AND HONORABLE DEEDS. I FEEL WE NEED TO GROW CLOSER SOMEHOW AGAIN AND PERHAPS PUSH MORE FOR ROLEPLAY, HONOR AND A SOCIAL SYSTEM TO BATTLE TODAYS PUNK RPLESS ATTITUDES AS A SYSTEM.

UPPING OVERALL PLAYER HAPPYNESS

RULE # 6: THIS WENT AWAY AS IT WAS DEEMED UNNECCASARY BUT I BELEIVE IT IS. IT WAS A RULE EVERYONE USED TO HAVE FUN YELLING OUT AS A GROUP. IT SYMBOLIZED THIS BEING JUST A GAME AND THE NEED FOR IT TO STAY FUN FOR ALL EVEN IF IT DID WASTE TIME.

REALMS LAND. I THINK WE HAVE A TENDANCY TO HOARD OUR SITES AND NEED TO SHARE THEM AND MAKE A LIST OF THEM AND THEIR REQUIREMENTS. I ALSO THINK THE REALMS NEEDS ITS OWN LAND SOMEDAY WHEN IT CAN SAFELY AND FAIRLY CONTROL IT. ID LOVE TO WIN BIG AND BUY THIS FOR THE GAME AND/OR MYSELF. MAYBE ILL THROW A YEARLY EVENT THAT SENDS REALMS BEST HOLDEM PLAYER TO A WORLD SERIES OF POKER EVENT TO WIN SOMETHING LIKE 25% FOR THEM 75% (AFTER TAXES TAKEN OUT OF COURSE) FOR THE REALMS TO BUY LAND,INSURANCE,PROPS,ECT.
